Five Star Rating System

Lisa and I decided we wanted to rate restaurants and tasting rooms.  Further, we decided to use the Five Star system:

5-Star Rating

“Outstanding cuisine, travel, or wine tasting experience, worth a plane ticket to get there”

3-Star Rating

“Excellent restaurant, travel, or wine tasting experience, worth a full tank of gas to get there”

1-Star Rating

“A great restaurant, travel, or wine tasting experience in its class”

At eatrz.com, we will look at four variables and rate them from zero (0) to five (5) stars:

  1. Ambiance (Environment)
  2. Taste (View or Sound for Experiences)
  3. Value
  4. Presentation (Service/Temperature/Volume of Pour for Drink, Plating for Eat, Service for Play, and Cleanliness of Room and quality of facilities for Sleep)

We will then take the average of the four scored to give a final score.

To see reviews, go to our Drink, Eat,  Play, or Sleep blog pages.
